Incredible video shows Jackie Chan learn Shaolin fighting techniques from a kid

Yup, even if you think you’re the master of something, there’s ALWAYS still something to be learnt.. I mean, we’ve all seen that time Gordon Ramsay gets absolutely roasted by a Thai chef, who told the British TV personality that his Pad Thai was all wrong .

“This is not Pad Thai at all,” Chef Chang told Ramsay, when he went to cook in Chang’s restaurant called The Blue Elephant for The F-Word.

“Pad Thai has to be sweet, sour, and salty.”

Ramsay offers: “I think that doesn’t taste too bad.”
But Chang replies: “To you, but not for me.”

But, thankfully for Ramsay, it’s not just the food and drink industry that sees the big names often shown a thing or two by mere mortals.

Jackie Chan may be an absolute don when it comes to martial arts, but the video above shows him being schooled by a young Shaolin monk, who appears to be showing him the ropes with some techniques.

The footage comes from behind the scenes of a 2011 movie called Shaolin, which saw Chan feature as a Shaolin monk.
The video was shared in a Reddit thread, where one person explained: “This is from the movie Shaolin. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it so I don’t remember if the kid showing him the form was part of the plot of just behind the scenes footage.”

One person speculated: “He was definitely playing along, but that kid was fucking adorable correcting his stance.”
While Jackie Chan’s martial arts prowess has won him the hearts of many moviegoers over the years, critically he’s been a little overlooked.
It wasn’t until 2016 that the actor finally won an Oscar – and even that was an honorary one, rather than the real deal.

Being presented the accolade at the Eighth Annual Governors Awards in LA, the actor said it was a ‘dream’ to accept the award.
“My dad always said ‘Son, you get so many movie awards in the world, when are you going to get one of these?’,” Chan told the audience.
“Then I just looked at my dad. ‘Ha, ha, ha. Dad, I only make comedy action movies’.”
